Upgrading the M4000 XSCF firmware is a three-step process. These sequence of Solaris commands performs the XCP import, XSCF update and OBP application which make up the XSCF firmware upgrade process.
Unless you create a new user in the Sun M4000 XSCF, you may only log in as the 'default' user. This requires that you be physically present in the front of the server to turn the mode switch. This set of Solaris commands configures the Sun M4000 XSCF including setting up an admin account that gets around the limitations of the default user.
